Book Recommendation

Have you heard of the fabulous author Elizabeth Scott?

If you haven't, I plan to fix that. If you have, well, read this anyway because you can never have enough of her!

Elizabeth Scott is the author of seven Young Adult novels (Something, Maybe. Bloom. Living Dead Girl. Stealing Heaven. Perfect You. Love You, Hate You, Miss You. And coming out soon... THE UNWRITTEN RULE!) What makes Scott such an impressive writer isn't necessarily her employment of the English language (though that's pretty great too) but her ability to dive deep into the depths of an issue, be it a first kiss, your parents divorce, or abuse. Her characters and stories stick with you long after you've read them. I've laughed and I've cried (Cliché, I know, but it's true!) when reading her books. I absolutely adore them. So go Check Them Out!

Her newest novel, The Unwritten Rule, is about Sarah, who has a crush on her best friend's boyfriend.

Everyone knows the unwritten rule: You don't like you best friend's boyfriend.

Sarah has had a crush on Ryan for years. He's easy to talk to, supersmart, and totally gets her. Lately it even seems like he's paying extra attention to her. Everything would be perfect except for two things: Ryan is Brianna's boyfriend, and Brianna is Sarah's best friend.

Sarah forces herself to avoid Ryan and tries to convince herself not to like him. She feels so guilty for wanting him, and the last thing she wants is to hurt her best friend. But when she's thrown together with Ryan one night, something happens. It's wonderful...and awful.

Sarah is torn apart by guilt, but what she feels is nothing short of addiction, and she can't stop herself from wanting more...

In stores on March 16th!
